About me
Christopher Shirley currently serves as School Principal at Oak Brook Elementary School in Ballwin, Missouri. He holds both an Educational Specialist and Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University, as well as a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. With nearly 30 years of experience in education, Chris has served as both a 5th/6th grade teacher and has been a school administrator for over 2 decades. He also instructs educational leadership courses at Maryville University.
A passionate advocate for character education, Chris graduated from the Leadership Academy for Character Education in 2008 and has since mentored administrators focused on leading schools of character. Under his leadership, his school has earned the distinction of being a two-time National School of Character. Chris is also an experienced presenter at both local and national character education conferences, sharing his expertise in cultivating values-driven school communities.
